HMS’s customers include people with a wide range of physical and emotional needs. You could be caring for a person at the end of their life or a person that has had a serious accident and is physically disabled. The necessity to be able to keep calm and think clearly whilst under pressure is essential.
The selection of the Care Assistant applicant is key to the HMS brand promise to provide the best home care through promotion of individuality and choice – ‘My Care My Home My Choice’. To help you to deliver on that customer focused service we provide training and ongoing field supervision. We also promote staff development to help care assistants specialise into areas of interest such as palliative or dementia care. The daily routine involves attending care visits and travelling between customers’ homes. You will be responsible for providing your own transport between calls.
